Rimmer Bros sale...

Not quite sure where to post this, but there was a thread here recently about buying parts direct from the UK.

I routinely place orders from Rimmer Bros for Triumph bits not available from suppliers in the US. I've never had a bad experience, although shipping can be pricey on heavier stuff.

Given the dollars advance against the sterling, it's not a bad time to buy stuff from the UK. About $1.54 to the GBP, which is about 30% less than last spring.

Anyway, I received a coupon in the mail for 15% off just about everything they sell. Offer code: EX228D, ends Sunday Nov 16th.

I have no financial interest, just a happy customer. Hopefully this does not violate Basilpolicy.

Thanks Scott!

How is the Spit?

Spit is currently in pieces. Lots and lots of pieces.

I have most of the new mechanical and trim bits to put it all back together; just need to get a round tuit. I've decided not to rebuild the engine, but to just "freshen" it up a bit (bearings, gaskets and what not). It will be desmogged and fitted with Euro HS4s. Lemme know if you need any smog bits.

You'd be amazed at how much space an exploded Spit takes up.

I have bought a few things from Rimmer over the years. Good people, and fun to talk with. Funny accents......

How about two? I cannot walk through my garage

I have bought small odd bits from Rimmers as you have. It was a very pleasant transaction and the parts got here faster than from the west coast.
