"Rebuilt" 1500 out of balance
Well, I got my motor back together and it runs great BUT, it now has a vibration b/w 2-3K it didn't have before. The only thing different I did on the bottom was ARP rod bolts and a new flywheel ring gear. The heads of the old bolts were larger and I didn't think anything of it as no one said I need to rebalance using these rod bolts but EVERYONE said that the rod bolts needed to be replaced when installing new bearings.
The vib isn't real bad, but any vibrations aren't good. (no jokes please.)
I know it can't live long like this, all I wanted/needed was 5K out of it till I can get my other motor together and I don't think it'll live that long like this.
So far any options I have thought of didn't sound good at all.
(install old bolts, install GRD8 washers to make up weight, drive it like it is till it fails etc...)
Any ideas?
