Ran across cool car-guy show on DIY channel

Maybe old news to you folks: I stumbled upon the DIY channel a few days ago and discovered a series on the ground up restoration of a '58 Vette Roadster. Now I know it isn't Healey, but for a guy that can't get enough of old cars I found it pretty entertaining. I've set up the TIVO to pick up the rest of the series. The host, who does 90% of the wrenching, makes it seem so easy. Reminds me of Norm on Old Yankee Workshop. With a 2000 sq ft workshop and every tool ever made by Delta, he can build darned near anything in a 60 minute show and never break a sweat..

Anyway, if you have a chance try to find this show on DIY. It's really kind of cool, even if it is a Vette.

It's called "classic car restoration " and there have been several cars featured across multiple shows. One series was about doing a 69 Alfa Romeo.

Is this the guy who does rolling restorations? I just cringe when he spray paints suspension parts while they're still on the car.

There are several different car guys doing the restorations. It depends on which car restoration is
currently playing as to which car guy is on.

a friend told me that last sunday he watched "the austin healey 3000" on the a&e channel, the dvd is available for about $25.00 by going to a&emovies.com as are most thier special car shows. just type in austin healey on thier search window, makes a nice x-mass press. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif
