Racing stripes on a BE

I'm thinking of putting twin stripes, nose to tail, on our Silver BE when it gets on the road next spring, and would appreciate the thoughts (photos too) of folks who have such things: width of the stripes, spacing between them. Etc. I expect that I'll take the cheap way out and use some sort of tape/wrap/whatever, as the body shop guesstimated $ 1500 (Cdn) to do it right - and at least the tape/etc. is not quite as irrevocable as a paint job. Thanks, Doug

This isn't a Bugeye and my stripes are painted and different from the usual centered location. DSCF9574.jpgTop striped view.jpg

I quite like the Frogari style - I think it apes the early 50s Jag stripes (but don't know for sure). If we were to spend the big bucks and have the stripes painted, I'd wanted to go that route, but I don't know if that would be feasible with vinyl/whatever. Thanks all, Doug

John Felt has more about Frogari on his bugeyeparts.com site. IIRC there may be a vudeo
