Dear BFCers,
Outside of my annual NAMI fundraiser, I don't ask our members for money to support causes, but I'm trying to help our nearby neighbors who are desperate. These folks are not well off and can't come up with all the money needed on their own.
Recently, someone shot their beautiful white Husky, Kiara, in the face. (A police report was filed and we're hoping they catch the B* who did this). The pup is currently at the VCA hospital in Albuquerque under sedation (I did verify this). This poor doggy needs extensive reconstructive surgery that will cost around $15,000. The family has been able to scrape together about $4000. This is a time-urgent situation, so I'm asking for your help so this poor dog can be saved. Anything will help and be much appreciated.
