4th in a series:

For folks who prefer the handsome lines of the 6... we've got you covered today too! Here's a really nice example with a Chevy 350 engine: https://www.britishv8.org/Triumph/KenSchmidt.htm (13 photos!)

"TH-2004R automatic transmission (with overdrive), from California Performance."

There's always a line in our "How It Was Done" summary for the transmission details.

I like his choice of colors, chrome and battery hold downs.... :yesnod:

But I'm not wild about the wheel either. Probably because I can't imagine trying to hold on to a slippery wooden wheel when you hit that thing to the floor and get into you first turn. :nonono:

Obviously with so many cars on that website we can't start a new thread here for every one, but there is a sprite or midget on there with a Jag 6 cylinder engine in it which is really cool! Check that one out for Big British Power in a small British car.

Nicely done, but the hood scoop ruins it all for me and makes it look amateurish.

Surely he could have used a low rise manifold and kept the car looking like a relatively stock one (wheesl and tires aside). It would have been much neater as a sleeper.

What is it about people that some want to stick on scoops even when they don't need them......too much reading of Hot Rod magazine as a youth perhaps? :nonod:
