In regards to recommending a machine shop in N. California, I've had good success with Elby's Machine Shop in Dublin, CA. I met a Triumph TR-6 owner who recently had an engine rebuilt by Elby's and was very satisfied with the results.
As to replacement parts, they could help you explore options such as the best selection of aftermarket pistons etc.; however, I would suggest sourcing the parts. It makes whole the process easier.
Perhaps you could recommend a shop that could reliably rebuild the front suspension on an Austin Healey 3000. Roger Kraus Racing - Castro Valley, CA says they can. For this I have the parts, but no time. Gonzo /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
