I have been told that the TR6 Steering lower Universal Joint (Moss 667-295) can be used to replace the lower Flex Joint (Moss 667-385) used on the TR4A. The advantage being that it removes some of the vagueness in the steering.
- Is this correct and are there any negatives to doing this?
- Is it a straight switch out or are there any other parts necessary
Please note, I am also replacing the original rack and pinion mounts which use rubber bushings with the Moss upgraded security mounting kit 667-293 in part to also improve the steering.
Thanks,
Richard
