Call me crazy, but I love the styling of British cars, but hate the engineering. Yes, yes, Lucas, prince of darkness, etc. etc. But in a country where its cold and rains a lot, you'd think they would manage heating and leaking. These are our British babies: in order from L-R above: 1968 Rolls Royce Silver shadow, RHD, 1957 Aston Martin DB2/4 MkII, Fixed Head Coupe (Rare Notchback), 1959 Aston Martin DB MkIII Drop Head Coupe, 1969 MGB roadster, 1968 MGB roadster. We do most of the work ourselves, my brother and I. The MkIII Aston has been in the family since 1964, the MkII since 1965. My first English car was a 1972 MGB that I bought in 1977 for $2,000. When my brother wrecked it in 1985, I got $10,000 for it from the insurance co. The 57 Aston we believe to have been David Brown's American Co. Car!
