My brother in law is restoring an Jenson Interceptor, Does anyoine have photos of the rear parcel shelf? The center portion is an upholsterd board but it is unclear as to how the side pieces are finished??
Any photos would be appreciated.

Alan, not to far from me is the rustiest Interceptor on the planet - I can probably go see in the next day or two.

JP, ya oughta see the hydraulic/electric setup a drophead Jensen Interceptor has stuffed in th' boot!!!

Chrysler hydraulics controlled with Lucas relays! About ten pounds of 'em.
 
Jensens were high class tourers, but also rather ahead of the norm on innovation. In 1957 the 541R had the first disc brakes (all round) on a production car. In 1966 they built the first car with 4 wheel drive and antilock brakes (Jensen FF).

Interceptors can be tust traps or delightful tourers depending on condition.

To answer the original question, the panel around the removable panel in the boot cover was also covered with black Vynide.

My favourite Jensen (because I own one and because it is several hundred pounds lighter than the Interceptor) - CV-8 (also fibreglass bodied).
