TR5/TR250 Is it good or bad idea to grease an overdrive angle drive?

I got a new overdrive angle drive from TRF. It is assembled with snap rings to hold the end plates in place. On other angle drives I've had in the past, the end plates were staked in. Since the end plates are easily removed with a snap ring, I decided to open it up and grease the gears. It had some grease but I added more. Is it a good idea to put in more grease or a bad idea? Thanks!
Regards, Bob

A bit more grease seems like a good idea to me. Like you, all the ones I have seen are staked (though I did take one apart to repair it) so greasing usually is not an option.
