Steel was the original. I have 3 TRs using the CU-NI with an accumulated 15+ years of use. I am still good to go.If for fuel, why not standard steel fuel line? I sense enough vibration and other factors in the routing of that line around the engine that I lean toward something stronger for fuel line. For brake line, I’d say the same, though I’ve seen copper for the short connector pieces at the front calipers.
