For those of us who are ignorant, what type of pump does it use Mechanical, Electrical In-tank or out?
And are you looking to keep it original?

Welcome to BCF! I've actually been to Libby. Once.
I was stationed at Malmstrom back in the day and my wife and I honeymooned at Flathead Lake.

Welcome! Been through your area many, many times on the way
to/from my Sister's in Kalispell since the early '70's.
I bought some local beef jerky at the Town Pump on my
move to Virginia. It was locally made & wish I could get some more.

Yeah - we went back about 15 years ago,& I asked my Wife
"WHERE are we?" hardly recognized the place.I really don't care
if I go back there,or not.
I've been reading old issues of Montana magazine from the
mid '70's and later.Really interesting stuff.I miss that era.

you seriously would not believe how it has changed, our little town has got a huge influx of people moving in, it's horrible!! did you go to Glacier Park? you have to buy tickets to go there now , it's bumper to bumper, ruined it.

Take your old pump to a NAPA dealer and have them look a replacement up. The priming rod on the side might not be available. Back in the 60s I had 2 Metros and if I can remember the engines were Austins ?? PJ

They are easy to rebuild, usually replacing the diaphragm will fix it.
