Hello,
I had planned on working on my heater a while back but got sidetracked on other car projects. My heating system is in bad shape, and I plan on going through the entire system next. I would also like to powder coat the heater box. I need to know who is my best source for parts, and especially where I can buy seals for the heater box. Also, does someone sell the decal that goes on the heater box? I seemed to remember Paul talking about doing this, but I lost most of my information due to my computer being hacked recently. Any help on where to buy parts or help in the rebuilding process would greatly be appreciated.
Kevin

Kevin, Check Paul's and Bobby's sites.
I PC'd my box many years ago.
Most of the seals get from the big box stores.

:iagree:
I just bought foam weather seals and it works fine.

Don, were you able to find the two decals that go on the heater box? Where did you order your parts from? I tend to like to order from a place in PA you told me about, but I sometimes find it difficult to navigate to find parts on their site. Thanks for the tip, Elliot. Mine are almost gone from mice. Hopefully I have enough left to figure out what I need.

TRF??

Kevin, what parts do you need . There really isn't any parts per se in thee.

Yes, TRF. Couldn't remember if I could use company names on the forum. I am not totally sure what I need because I am in Ohio and don't have access to my manuals or catalogs. I won't get a chance to take things apart for another month either.

As long as you don't throw em under a bus it's fine.

Kevin- You are probably referring to the "Smiths" decals on the side of the heater box. I did without them as no-one will see them anyway!

Hi Kevin,

Made them as a favor for a guy that has done some favors for me.

I have been trying to find the artwork I made for them but have not had any luck. Too much stuff in my hard drives.

They are vinyl stick on decals like the originals.

Only a couple left but if you pm your address I can help you out with a set.
