These are currently used as wedding limousines, usually for the bride and groom. The coachwork is fairly original, and the chassis and front suspension is also fairly original, and is now my most pressing concern. The drivetrains have been replaced with GM/Chevrolet engines, transmissions, and at least one has a Ford rear axle. I confess I haven't even looked at the rear axle on the other one.

I've done lots of sports car racing and vintage racing in the past, and been on track with lots of British cars, and seen them in the pits and paddock, but I've never really done much work on British cars yet. This is a learning experience.

As I said, I'll be having a lot of questions about the front suspension and steering on these two Princesses (Leia and Diana).

Usually I try to share my experience and help out others as well. I confess my knowledge is rather limited, although I do know my way around Weber Carburetors, and Chevrolet engines of various descriptions, including the inline 6 cylinders which are often forgotten.

Here's a pic I took of one of the Princesses (this one is named Diana) before doing an alternator upgrade on the inline 6 Chevrolet engine she has. You can see the alternator and some other parts there on the floor in the foreground.

welcome! I have a huge soft spot for these Princesses - years ago there was one for sale that I (half seriously) considered buying - till I measured my garage and there was literally no chance - they are huge!
