Hi, this is my first post. I hope I'm doing it right. This last June was my 41st year of owning my car. Still can't believe I can fit in it. I was thinking of selling it last month but resolved my simple problem with the help of the BCF, so thank you all for posting your experiences, ideas and helpful tips. All I needed to do was switch out my fuses from a 32 amp (Lucas) to the SFE 20 and now everything works great! Only now the radio won't power on, but that's probably because I had the battery disconnected. All the fuses are good, so now I need to see if the fuse for the radio is under the dash? Is that a good place to look? I moved and my regular mechanic is about a two hour drive. Thank you!

Hello and welcome the to BCF. Yes, you are posting your question correctly. Might I suggest that you add the year of your TR6 to your post since the wiring diagrams will change depending on the year of manufacture.
Since you said you checked the fuses on the fuse block and they are OK I would look at the back of the radio and find the +12v power feed wire. There's a good chance that there's an in-line fuse close to the radio.
