Found the transmission problem.......

a: Throwout bearing had a very deep gouge in it, cracked in two and was useless.
b: Pilot bushing had disintegrated.
c. Clutch plate was horribly worn.

I'm surprised and impressed that the car kept going, because it looked like that pilot bushing had been dead for a very long time.
These cars are awesome.

Time for a Tony order!
