Foot powder finds oil leak!

Earlier I posted about a vexing oil leak that I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. An old time mechanic suggested foot powder. It works great! Wipe down. Use spray foot power in an aerosol can. Spray all over. It leaves a white coating. Drive around slowly for 10-15 min. and the leak becomes apparent. Be sure to engage the overdrive. Note: not all spray foot powders are created equal. Some dry watery, some more powderly. You should have seen me in the drug store trying them out. Lotrimin Powder Spray Goes on Dry worked best.

That's putting your best foot forward!
Thanks for sharing. These kinds of tips come in handy.
Cheers,

Andy,

FYI - Lotrimin works great on your feet as well. I use it in my driving shoes all the time to help with the heat.
