So many changes, crank, cam, etc. I do not want to throw
into the mix anything else such as carbs or distributor.
I know they worked fine before my rebuild. Presuming
a fine running engine, these can be addressed a little more
down the road (no pun).
So what can I use to clean up the distributor's body?
I was thinking a brake cleaner or something that will
evaporate off surfaces rather quickly.
We do have the electronics (points/condenser) that could
get a bit wet from the cleaner, though I would try to avoid
this.
Suggestions, please.
