British Car Show in Central NJ on June 3

I'll be there - look out for a blue TR6 (with no roof - let's hope the rain holds off!). It is a really nice location for a car show - even my wife likes it!

Cheers
Alistair

Hi There Ladies & Gents;

I`ll surely be there as I`m Pre-Registered: If it should be raining (Hopefully Not); No TR4A but I`ll be hanging around and taking in the Great Scenery:

See Ya All There;

Regards, Russ

PS: I`ll be wearing My BCF Grey Tee Shirt with a TR4 Emblem on the Front:

I'm hoping to get to a local car show here in Scotland on Sunday. Unfortunately the forecast is for rain!

Sounds to Me like "Global Raining" Everywhere!

Lets All Hope, "NOT"!!

Russ

Hi Folks;

Well; My TR is all painted and "Almost" ready to go:

All the Trim pcs still need to be put back on: Thought It was going to be completed Today; But No Go!

Oh Well; I`ll be there with My Mazda Van & BCF Shirt on:

"Hellertown" For Sure!

See Ya All Tomorrow;

Regards, Russ

I hope to make it, I didnt pre register, local 5K run for a great cause in the morning, then Ill try and get over to Clinton, Im only about 20 minutes away

Me and the missus will be there....white '00 Miata with roll bar.

Some nice cars at the Red Mill show, but quite small.
I was surprised at the light turnout. Too bad.

I know they have a limit of 100 cars at this show, but it only looked like about 30 to 35 cars actually made it.
A little overcast but really a nice day until about 2 PM.

Quite a few TR3s including a wonderful small mouth version. Two very nice E-types as well.

We had a nice ride out there top down (Miata) and the museum is nice too...it's like a smaller version of ~WATERLOO VILLAGE~ (which I can walk to from my house).

Hi There Folks;

I attended the Red Mill & It "Was" a Nice Show! As aeronca mentions; The Turn out was quite small: I don`t know if the Potential Rain scared off everyone or what, but It does`nt look Good for this show to continue: Basically most peoples feelings are they probably "Won`t" attend next yr if they have it at All??

No Bag Pipers this yr; BOO! One Vendor, Vending Hot Dogs! Two people Canoeing; Thats about It:

Myself; I was Pre-Registered but could`nt bring My TR4 as It was`nt completed yet: It`ll be Good to Go for "Hellertown": We`re having a Nice Caravan of cars leaving from the Poconos: Whomever would like to join us; Just email Myself & I`ll give you the specifics:

Hey aeronca; I was looking for your Mazda & did`nt see it; Where did you park?

See Ya All @ Hellertown;

Regards, Russ

PS: Basil; Had My BCF Tee Shirt on but you know; I did`t get too many comments about it? Kind of Curious as to Why Not?? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif

Russ: I was in the public parking area about three blocks away.
That's another problem with this show....there is no easy, nearby parking for non-show cars like mine.
I was parked next to a dark XK6 and there was a red TR4 three slots away from me. Neither of these cars were in the show, but it would have been nice if they could have parked a bit closer since both were nice.
At the Moss show, part of the fun is walking though the regular parking area and looking at non-show cars.
We may go to the Georgian Court College show (in Lakewood, NJ) but mostly I'll be at the races (heading for BeaveRun Pittsburg next Friday).

Russ,
You should have come to our local car show if you wanted bag pipers. They played all day!!
It was a very overcast day in southern Scotland too, so there were quite a number of empty spaces at the show. Still a very varied entry, but no side-screen TRs.
Nick

Hey Nick;

As I was leaving the "Red Mill"; I got to speak with some of the Powers to Be relative to the Pipers:

Their comments were; If you know of someone or a Group; Send them on over for Next Yr:

I wonder what they would Pay the Pipers (Actually from Scotland) to play here Stateside? Free Plane Trip; Free Sabrett Hot Dogs; What do You Think? Would they come over for some "Free" Sabrett Hot Dogs?

Yeah, Right!

Regards, Russ

Well, you know us Scots. Anything that's free ... !
