I am having a where does it go moment, the right brake cable where it attaches to the operating lever rides over the front brake rod, and the cable rubs on the rod. Does anybody have a picture of the operating lever with all cables attached to it? here is a photo of mine'

I wish I could help but it has been a really long time and I dont have any pictures. I'm pretty sure my '48 was all solid rods instead of cables but shouldn't make any difference. It almost looks like the bell crank should be flipped over to get the pedal rod behind the cable. Does that make any sense? Probably not. You might just try some other orientations though. Something should be right.
