Had the aluminum one from HF got tired of wasting time and lacquer thinner cleaning it up. Eastwood and other have them with tear off paper for $15.00 to $20.00 for a 100 to 150 sheet tablet. I went this route:

File folders are about $15.00 for 150 ct. cut them in half. They work fine and soak up almost no surfacing material, they are rigid enough not to wrinkle while mixing.

Smooth plastic cutting boards wife uses in the kitchen. I bought a few, when done, flex them and they are clean.

Try a glossy heavy paper magazine. Same as Eastwood, but cheaper. When finished mixing, tear off the page and start again.
