I am looking to find out where the rubber door seal (bristleflex) attaches to at the rear of the door jamb.
Does it attach to the aluminum shut face or to the body itself.
It has been about 6 yrs since I started this rebuild and some things seam like a distant memory but the end is near.

Thanks

The door seal attaches to the body flange (not the aluminum finisher plate), continues up to the top of the door opening and over onto the top edge of the rear upholstery panel. It is secured there with a small chrome clip (Moss P/N 240-530).

It does attach to the bottom aluminum finish plate correct??

Yes, there is no body flange along the lower door opening, so the seal attaches to the flange of the bottom finish plate.

Thanks for the feedback.
