best place to get parts

Check our vendors as well depending upon what you need of course.

It depends upon the part needed. Here's MY list, in no particular order, but the top three are among the very best. Not all are parts places but they are all interesting none the less.

what is the best place to get parts for my 1977 mg midget? I use British Victoria and Moss.

those two will cover almost everything you need.

I know that list changes and such but it would be nice if it could be stickeyed or something.

or wiki'd...

I always shop bpnorthwest .com first. Good parts, good people, AND they are BCF sponsors.

It's important to know that a lot of the parts from VB and Moss are pretty bad quality, and that's being charitable. As you spend more time on these forums, you'll hear continual complaining about this. Best thing is to R&R what you have, if possible; don't change out anything just to have a newer part; and look for NOS and good used stuff on ebay. It's more work, but less $$ and much more satisfying.

I've picked up some very good rubber pieces at the All British Field Meet.
Anywhere that you can go and hold the part in your hand before buying is great, you can test the quality before buying. Not the usual case though, so the next best is dealing with someone who will take the part back if you don't like it.
