Hey fellas, sorry for the long time sebatical, but i've been busy w school and my car's in storage. I just picked up a handy lincoln MIG outfit and am getting myself pumped for tackling the body restoration of my car. for those starting on a new car - please save yourself the trouble and don't do anything until you restore the body (i painted the engine bay and now have the resources to fix rusty panels inside there.) no biggie, just added unneccessary work. I'm getting excited about being able to follow in the footsteps of the member who converted the RB to chromes and fill in those ugly turnsignal wiring holes in my fenders (76 fenders).
right now my car's new name is frankenstein, and i feel sorry for whoever gets it when i'm done with it. i feel like one of "those" previous owners, now that i've had the winter to think about it.
76 mg midget
early 1275 motor/trans (no reverse lights)- adding switch
MGB ignition.
73 3.9, wire wheel axle and hubs
ANYWAY, sorry for the redundant post, but i'm just getting excited now that i have the capabilities to properly restore the body of my car and get it revvin to go this summer.
