Not for me - I had someone looking for one,
& checked on one sitting at a local auto repair
shop for a few years.
It has a few rust spots, but the shop owner
wants to see it gone, but hasn't heard from the owner
since it had engine work done.
Are these worth anything,& does anyone know how
the shop owner would go about selling it/giving it away?
I knew the original owner,& I'd hate to see it go to the
local auto wreckers.

Not much. Weren't worth a lot when new.
BIG problem on older General Misunderstandings (other than engines, transmissions, 10 and 12 bolt rear ends) is the mild steel clips used to attach the chrome windscreen and backglass surrounds. Once they start, and you can see it, it has usually eaten into the body, and takes a LOT of work to fix.
That is the prime reason most older GM's smell moldy and mildew-y inside. All that moisture runs down into door panels, rear seat, carpets.....
