Just curious, there's a good chance my wife and I are heading to Georgia for the VTR national in October. Anybody else planning on attending?

I may have asked this too early, so I'm bumping it up again. Any BCFer's going to VTR nationals next week? Don't tell me I'm the only one!

I was supposed to, but then I decided to go back to school. Between drive time from Austin, the event, and driving back, too much for my current schedule. Can't miss that many classes. It's killing me, too, as my parents live just outside of Savannah, GA, so I had a free place to stay, and my dad was going to take his TR8 down and maybe even the TR7 he has. Someday I'll get to a national...

Trailer is loaded and ready to go(yes, a trailer but that's the price you pay to make it a vacation with SWMBO!). Heading out tomorrow, will overnight around Mobile or Pensacola then start having fun Sunday evening in Georgia. Looking forward to it!

Have fun Randy. We want pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Warning: there are some painful photos in Gallery 3! :frown:

Just got back home from an all day drive back from Jekyll. 15 hours but we made it! Great venue, beautiful weather. I was just finishing my 2nd autocross run - the Vitesse was the next one to run and when I turned around at the finish all I saw was it completely upside down with no windshield visible. I thought it was a fatality, but very fortunately the owner walked away and was able to attend the closing banquet - I bet he's sore today though. The Vitesse I'm not sure sure about - obvious issues with the windshield, and a few body ripples. If it is going to be saved, it will be expensive.
