TR2/3/3A A123 distributor

There are different offsets on the driveshaft dog I expect, you’d need to check. Racestorations sell 123 distributors for TR2-4A.

Well, when I select and go through the tree, it definitely shows it as compatible. That said...Rimmer doesn't have a stellar rep for getting compatibility correct.

Rimmer Bros has a copy of the installation manual available for download. I think it will "fit" with no trouble, but it looks like you are on your own to create a suitable advance curve. They ones they provide appear to be generic Bosch ones. Should not be too difficult to do as long as you remember that distributor RPM and degrees are half those at the crankshaft. Using the factory data would be a starting point and it is cool that you can program it meet your conditions and modern fuels.

Have a look also at the CSI distributor that Moss Motors-USA and Moss Motors-Europe sell. It may have advantages for you and/or be less expensive. Moss Motors (Eurpoe) seems to have them for 256 pounds when on sale, 280 when not on sale. May be cheaper than Moss Motors USA, even with the shipping cost.

Another suggestion: check out Leen APK, https://www.123ignitionshop.com/gb/. Their stated prices are about the same (not sure of the exchange rate right now), but I seem to remember that they deleted the VAT when shipping the item outside of Europe, so it's about 20% off.

I got one of these for my Porsche 912 a few years ago, and I'm very happy with it. The tunable version was not available at the time (I would have bought it if it were), but the stored advance curves covered all the standard 912 curves and about a jillion VW curves. I suspect that the Lucas version does the same thing, but, in any case, you can program it with whatever curve you want.
