A tired question

We have decided to bite the bullet, so to speak, and replace our 35-year-old handsome, tredfull, rock-hard tires. Shrewdly reasoning that whoever ends up with the car (a tearful thought right about now) should be safe. We have stock bugeye rims, with 155X80-13 Goodyear’s. We are putting a lot of effort into making this little guy ‘stock,’ so, other than Dunlop Gold Seal 5.20-13’s what do we get? And, does anyone have a friend in the tire business?

145/13 white walls is what came on the car.

I understand that they are available if you look around.
