OK, got a couple of questions for you knowledgeable Midget/Sprite owners about the later Midget heater cores - the ones which have the entry and exit coolant nipples on the same end, same tank.
Mostly I am interested in two things.
1) what are the physical dimensions of one of the later cores? I am looking primarily for those of the core itself.
2) How does the coolant run thru the core?
In the later Midget cores it appears that it must start and exit thru the same tank and the only way I can think of that coolant would circulate would be if the core were divided in halves and coolant entered at core and passed down one side to the opposite tank and were then forced to pass up the other half and back into what should be a divided tank and out the other nipple next to the inlet. Short of buying one and returning it to Moss, I thought perhaps one of you might just have a core on the shelf you could take a photo of and line out the dimensions and how it actually works.
I consider this inquiry a bit knowledge that could probably benefit more folks than just myself, like yourselves.
Thanks in advance, Bob M.
