2005 video of SCCA Runoffs.
I was watching an in car video posted by a Chris Foley, (unknown to me, but his car certainly has good acceleration!), of the E Production race at the SCCA Runoffs
from 2005 before they moved to Topeka from Mid_Ohio (why?)
Unfortunately a lot of mayhem, as seems to be more common these days, full course caution on lap 1, and a black flag followed by a restart later in the race.
Very exciting all the way through, the finale being that the leading Prelude is simultaneouly passed very late in the race by Sam Halkias in the TR6 on one side and a yellow Lotos 7/Caterham on the other, with the Caterham taking first and the TR6 second.
I think you may find the video at trackdaymedia/eprodrunoffs
or something similar.I suppose the venue has been changed because they want it nearer SCCA's head office, but a flat airport track can't compare with Mid-Ohio, or Road Atlanta.
JUst my opinion!
Simon.
