TR2/3/3A 1957 TR3 Air Cleaner Options

I am looking to change from the stock air cleaners and I am looking for reccomendations on what air cleaners you all have changed to.

I checked the K&N web site and they did not list one for the TR3 but I think they do make one that fits.

Just cross reference with anything that has those carbs.

Curt, try K&N under a listing for KNSD248 which was an offset TR3 air cleaner for SU H6 1.75" carbs from a Moss Triumphtune catalogue.

I use Ramflo foam filter aircleaners on the 3A in a hot dusty climate, and the carbies stay clean. These are a centred air cleaner on the carbies, but are compact and don't foul the inner guard.

Regards,

Viv

We have standard 1.75" K&Ns from TSImportedautomotive.com (Ted Schumaker). They fit fine, no inner fender clearance issues. Just bolt on.

They consist of a base plate that is bolted to each carb, then the filter elements, then the top covers which attach with 5/32" acorn nuts.
