Thought of the Day

I can relate to that. As a kid I was always out with a shovel when it snowed.

Neighbors across the street have two healthy boys who graduated high school
a couple of years ago,who still live at home,& park their cars in the driveway. When the
driveway gets shoveled, guess who does it?Yep, - both parents.
We've been here for over seven years now,& still no nothing about these kids.
I just see them coming & going, but they never even wave when they go by.

We've had round here in SW OH close to a foot and a half of snow, most in a long time. And who was out shoveling up and down the street?? yep, the older folks. I didn't as I was working on mine, see anyone younger than later 40s. And I know there are younger parents and their teens and older kids round here. Oh well, let them try when they're 50s, folks are gone and they weigh 300lbs from sitting and running on a screen from each other....

Absolutely true. That's why I get things, news and other, from a variety of sources and run them through the history and details I learned over these many years to decide what may or may not be real. But I wonder with AI, if in a short period if you'll actually have had to be there to know if some video is true, false or just entertainment.

I worry about that too. I don’t trust any one source these days. There have been several mainstream media outlets sued in recent times for putting out “news” that was demonstrably false. It seems no matter where you get news these days you also getting a definite bias.

So many want a quick 2 minutes on some item and then to say "Aha, I knew it!!". One of the things with being a history buff, and having had a father who as an attorney taugh me was, what can you prove if you were to go to court.
